The Kalamazoo Humane Society is co-hosting a discussion, Q&A session and book signing event with Mr. Wayne Pacelle. Mr. Pacelle is the President & CEO of the The Humane Society of the United States. He will be in Kalamazoo on January 19 at Kazoo Book's store, 2413 Parkview Ave from noon to 2:00 pm., discussing and signing copies of his first book, "The Bond: Our Kinship with Animals, Our Call to Defend Them."

Bulk Mailing Volunteers - February 2nd & 3rd: Volunteers are needed tp prepare the summer edition of the News and Views for mailing. Volunteers will be stuffing and labeling newsletters. Newsletter also will need to be dellivered to various veterinarian offes. We will be preparing the newsletters from 10 AM - 4 PM, come for an hour or for three, all hands are appreciated! Please call 345-1181 if you can help with this mailing.
