pet owners utilize the Humane Society's Pet Food Bank Program
annually.
The Kalamazoo Humane Society offers temporary assistance to those
families in Kalamazoo County having financial difficulties.
Pet food costs can pose a problem for pet owners when the budget is
tight, and we can help to prevent pets going hungry during times of
financial strain.
The food bank will also gladly accept donations of wet and dry
pet food for pets of all ages, as well as cat litter. These
items are in high demand, especially when the economy suffers, and
unemployment rates are up.
