Ready to get out and give back? We’re ready for you!

Now that we are settled into our beautiful new building with a hi-tech air filtration system and ample elbow room, we are ready to open our doors to volunteers.

Visit the freshly redesigned kazoohumane.org/volunteer for more information and to fill out an application.

If you’ve volunteered with us before, we ask that you fill out an application to have your updated information in our new volunteer management program.

Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older and be willing to commit to volunteering four hours per month.

The Kalamazoo County Animal Services & Enforcement shelter isn’t open to volunteers yet, but if you’d like to be notified when they are, complete an application. You’ll be the first to know.

Rest assured, KHS follows COVID-19 safety protocols to keep our clients, volunteers, and staff safe.
